Specially-Developed SOC+CPLD Audio Architecture:
S.M.S.L has designed a SOC+CPLD audio architecture for the SD-9, where the SOC is responsible for signal decoding and CPLD handles the clock management of the audio system. The audio Clock here is generated by 2 individual frequency clocks(22.5792MHz, 24.576MHz). This architecture effectively reduces the clock jitter and achieves precise audio playback resulting in clean and transparent audio performance.

Bring the MQA(Master Quality Authenticated) experience home with the latest SD-9 Network Music Player. It brings you the full support for the latest MQA files decoding and rendering ensuring a truly immersive experience for its users. In MQA high-resolution audio files are encapsulated to keep the file size small, suitable for streaming and storing locally. Only MQA certified devices are capable of unfolding these files and bringing the true output to their users.

Supports Multiple Input Options:
There are multiple methods to feed the audio signal to the SD-9 Network Music Player. It supports Wireless & Wired NAS, USB Hard Disk, USB PC connection, USB Smartphone Connection, Bluetooth, and DLNA. Users can fully control the playback on the SD-9 using their smartphone with the help of the HiBy Link application.

Fully Equipped Output Interface:- 
SD-9 features multiple output ports to feed output to HiFi audio DAC in your chain. It supports Optical, Coaxial, I2S, AES/EBU, USB signal output that users can use to connect the SD-9 to their preferred choice of high-performance DAC.
