UM Maven II·Crescent: A Masterpiece of Craftsmanship

A Legacy of Excellence, Reimagined

UM introduces the Maven II·Crescent, the culmination of six years of refinement and innovation, following the successful launch of the Maven in 2018. Embracing a modern industrial aesthetic while retaining the raw beauty of titanium, the Maven II represents a seamless blend of heritage and advancement within UM's titanium series.

Bold Metallic Sonics, Unparalleled Performance

Featuring a 2DD Low Frequency + 2BA Mid-High Frequency + 2BA High Frequency + 4 Electrostatic Ultra-High Frequency Driver Configuration

Maven II represents a comprehensive refinement and breakthrough in both tuning and craftsmanship compared to its predecessor, the Maven.

Since UM's first development of the MARTIAN and Japan-exclusive MAVIS in 2014, featuring dual 6.8mm dynamic drivers for low frequency, the unique texture of dual dynamic bass has been highly sought after.

Carrying on and upgrading this technology, Maven II employs a proprietary 9.8mm + 6.9mm dynamic driver for low frequency, fully leveraging the inherent advantage of dynamic bass over balanced armature drivers in terms of naturalness. This unique dynamic driver delivers exceptional bass performance with distinctive character.

The Maven II boasts exceptional sound quality through a meticulous combination of 2 balanced armature drivers for mid-high frequencies, 2 for high frequencies, and 4 electrostatic drivers for extended highs. UM's expertise shines in the unique parallel vertical dual dynamic driver setup, delivering powerful, detailed bass without sacrificing clarity. This innovative combination, coupled with the titanium housing, creates a rich and immersive audio experience where each driver type contributes to the overall sonic brilliance.

Craftsmanship and Artisanal Forging

UM's factory boasts dedicated production lines for the design, manufacturing, prototyping, and final assembly of titanium earphones. Equipped with a comprehensive set of titanium earphone production equipment and systems, UM stands as one of the industry's most accomplished manufacturers of titanium IEMs.

Titanium's exceptional strength, low density, and lightweight properties have made it a material of choice for aerospace and medical applications. Maven II's shell and faceplate are crafted from corrosion-resistant, lightweight titanium, with a shell thickness of a mere 0.4mm, achieving a remarkable balance of thinness, resilience, and durability. Utilizing 3D printing technology with genuine titanium powder imported directly from Germany, the Maven II's super titanium construction delivers five times the strength of stainless steel while maintaining half the weight. Titanium's inherent resistance to scratches and corrosion ensures long-lasting aesthetics. The lightweight design contours seamlessly to the ears, minimizing discomfort during extended listening sessions.

Beyond its robust construction, the Maven II showcases UM's mastery of advanced titanium printing technology, seamlessly integrated with the expertise of UM's artisans.
