HiBy R5 Gen 2 is finally here, the successor to the highly successful R5 and R5 Saber Digital Audio Players. This time HiBy has brought us the goodness of ultimate Class A headphone amplification with the R5 Gen 2. R5 Gen 2 has also got an upgrade in the DAC chipset with Dual ES9219C DAC chips that support native DSD256 and PCM 32-Bit/768kHz decoding promising an authentic Hi-Res audio experience on the go. It also supports 16x MQA rendering for master-quality audio quality!!!

HiBy R5 Gen 2 Vs HiBy R5 Saber:
HiBy R5 Gen 2 is a completely redesigned digital audio player with a newer ES9219C Dual DAC Chipset, and a newer OPAMP chipset(2xOPA1652). It has got Class A headphone amplification along with an extra 2.5mm balanced headphone output that was absent before on the previous models of the R5 series by HiBy. HiBy has also equipped the R5 Gen 2 with a bigger display, the previous R5 and R5 Saber had a 4” 540p display while the R5 Gen 2 now has a 4.7” 720p display. Battery Life is greatly improved on the R5 Gen 2, from 18 hours on the previous models to up to 35 hours on the Gen 2.
