FPGA
The X8 XVIII allows the decoding of high resolution audio streams up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD512. Using an FPGA specially programmed by Aune, the X8 XVIII offers a precise, dynamic and detailed sound reproduction.
 
TRS balanced output
In addition to its USB, coaxial and optical inputs and its RCA pre-out and line outputs, the X8 XVIII is now equipped with a balanced preamplified output in 6.35mm TRS format.
 
Interchangeable AOP
The Aune X8 XVIII takes the concept of the interchangeable AOP. This one is indeed mounted on DIP8 support and accessible under the device. You just have to replace it by another model to adapt the sound reproduction of the DAC according to your audio system and your listening.
 
Seven available filters
The Aune X8 XVIII provides seven filters. Just like the interchangeable AOP, these allow you to adjust the sound signature of the device according to your desires.
